I've been satisfied with my RCA DTA800B. Here's my 2 cents on the RCA vs Zenith DTT900/901:
Small box, stands on end if desired.
Remote has large buttons, also controls TV power, volume, mute, & input.
Tuner sensitivity equal to or better than Zenith boxes (holding lock on weak signals).
Nice signal strength meter with sound, bar, and number readout.
Nice channel info display with signal strength, and what's on now and next.
Channel guide page which displays up to nine channels of now/next info updated automatically and continuously (when you bring it up).
Video quality looks as good as Zenith to me, but I only have old analog TV.
Audio sounds fine to me, but I'm only using TV speakers. Sound level is higher than Zenith DTT900 stereo, but slightly lower than Zenith DTT900 mono and much lower than Zenith 901 stereo/mono.
Universal remote can control nearly all box functions.
No problems with turning off. Runs warm, but not hot.
Cannot add channels after auto scan. Each auto scan erases previous channels found.
Two aspect ratio choices - fullscreen and widescreen. The aspect ratio setting applies to all channels, and you have to drill down into menu to change it.
Have to drill down into menu to get signal strength meter, and cannot see or hear program while signal strength meter is up.
Only comes with RF cable (no A/V cables).
