Looking for new receiver around a $100 bucks

This receiver is not for me, its going to be a Christmas gift for my brother who is not by any means an audiophile. He bought a house that already has in ceiling surround speakers and he needs a receiver. What online stores have new surround receivers for around $100 or less. I saw circuit city has a sherwood surround reciever for $130, but I imagine on line I can get even better deal. The only feature it requires is a remote, tuner, basic audio/video connections (non-HD tv, cable and dvd) and 5.1 Digital surround. Good sound is definetly a plus, but he probably could not tell a difference between a $100 and $1000 receiver anyways. Thanks
