Guess I just got a bad one. The mwave one I got was WAY dimmer on ECO than the OEM on NORMAL with about 1K hours on it. It was very obvious--even my dear wife noticed it and that's saying something.
I'd have done an exchange but didn't want to go through the hassle of returning one and waiting for another with maybe bad results again. Just sent it back Tuesday and hoping they don't ding me a 15% restocking fee for a "non-defective" lamp.
BTW, Do you mind telling me what your throw distance and screen size/gain is? Mine is about 18', 120" diagonal 16:9 & 1.3 gain. The OEM lamp is plenty bright.
