Noticed the Exif data is stripped if i upload before resizing using photobucket, can`t find their settings to stop this, ticked in options strip GPS and leave other data alone?

Looking at some of the screen shots is crazy. If the lack of shadow detail and aded sharpening effects on some of these shots are "real" and does not bother the user, more power to them. But it would sure annoy the hell out of me.

Your comparing the X90 to the wrong source. His screenshot is from the US release, not the Nordic. Also, you guys put too much faith in the photograph skills many of us posses. I'm sure in real life the image looks no where near as bad. He is probably using a bad camera with bad settings.

it's definitely the camera, my RS55 doesn't look anything like that in person.

LOL Leeloos pic was with a Darbee at 100% @ the THX preset (JVC sharpness/colour/gamma settings fixed in that mode uncalibrated)

so, you didn't calibrate your x90 yet?

No....Wanted to pass the 1000 hour mark after having the 1st X90 replaced (dim lamp firmware presets faulty).

Why spend so much on this projector and not get the best picture? My RS55/X70 was a huge difference in PQ after a calibration. But if it looks good to you, that's all that matters

Was that a typo and meant to be 100 hours? I barely got to 1100 hours total when I had my old HD350. It got calibrated a number of times as I kept changing my equipment (Video EQ, various VPs). I calibrated my X35 at 15 hours (very premature, but I just wanted to get in the ball park and autocal is so quick anyway). I'm at 115 hours now, so I'm planing on another calibration for various settings now that the lamp must have settled down. I must try some screenshots myself, but only have a very basic camera, so not sure how useful they would be.

No typo 1000 hours, yes the PJ looks so good comparing it to a Panasonic VT20 i just enjoy it

+1. The X70/X90 is screaming for a good calibration. There isn't 1 factory gamma setting that is actually right, it must be calibrated for accurate shadow detail.

or torrents/FTP/some other p2p. Doesn't matter. It isn't officially out for another 2 weeks. Gotta be careful Kevin. There are a lot of people looking at this forum. I'd take those photos down unless you actually own the blu-ray.
