Wow... funny how screenshots work. Based on all of these, I'm absolutely DROOLING over an RS1 (Cliffy's shots are simply amazing).

I was going to get a Sim2 C3X1080, but man those RS1 shots...!

Oh wait.. I own an RS1 already...

I have a Sim2 Domino 30H that started in this forum but now I really don't know where it belongs forum wise. It works for me and my family and will do until I can't stand it and take the next jump like you guys.

Ian,
I'd save your money since the screen shots are all you need to make your decisions.

Thanks for the comments...as for the RS1, this unit has looked great from day one...but I also did do a little tweaking to the projector
Now for the color...it really looks that good in person...I never understood what people refered to over Blown colors..cause I don't see it in mine.
Also...as for the pictures....they were taken in Canon RAW at a full 8.2MP with no compression.......no processing other then cropping, resizing and saving the picture as a JPG.

Heh heh. Yeah, Owl, I figured it was a screen shot of yours. 8)

How are you screen grabbing from blu-ray disc? Via a laptop or does that work on a PS3 too? Im not too familiar with screen grabs but I would like to be. 8)

Same here. My RS1 doesn't exhibit crazy neon greens and such that people have gone on about.

The colours are bold but not offensive or anything and do not look "cartoony" as some say the RS1 has looked to them. With mine I just can't see how a person could be disgusted by the oversaturation so maybe mine (and yours) are not that oversaturated.

Not possible. We all know how over saturated and crappy looking the colors of the RS1 are!

Nice camera. The screenshots show very good quality.

You've gotta be friggin' kidding me!

You are the king of screen captures, and you are doing it with a Kodak Easy Share camera?!?!?!

Those caps from TFE are probably the best I have ever seen. And let's just say that we've all seen a few screen caps from that movie over the years!

rayjr do not stop posting screen caps yours are superior

All three Cliff's, Art's and other RS1 are reall good looking shots.
Cliff's shots.. silky smooth and unbelieveable blacks are evident.
Arts's.. noticeable detail and ansi CR are the best I have seen.
I need to come up with some shots.

Yeah, I really need to do that. I have a decent camera too.

What settings are you using (shutter speed etc)?
Thanks..
Here are shots of my old projector.

Projector: Sony HS-20
Player: Toshiba A1
Screen: Da-Lite 106" Matte White High Contrast 1.1 Gain
Camera : Canon 20D auto and Large JPG mode (before I knew how to use the camera)
Lens: Canon 18-55mm f:3.5-5.6 (Kit Lens)

These screen shots were not very square

Again, your shots look great! What tweaking have you done to the PJ that might effect color? Would it be possible for you to post some others with facial shots? T5E is always good because we've all seen it 50 million times...

Thanks!
