Hi everyone, I'm have a strange issue with my DCT6412III and my Sony STRV444ES. Everytime I change the channel, FF or REW DVR I get a "pop" out of all my speakers. I'm using the optical output for my audio. I've contacted Comcast and they have never heard of this issue. I sent in my receiver to Sony and they told me nothing was wrong with the receiver.
Here's what I've done to troubleshoot:
1. Try a diffferent receiver with optical inputs - NO POPPING
2. Try different sound options with the cable box and receiver - annoying pop
3. Try new optical cables - annoying pop
I truely feel there is something wrong with the receiver reguardless what Sony says. I just wanted to see if anyone else has had this issue or some other troubleshooting tips before I get on the phone with Sony and start b!tching.
