I live in an apartment where the living room is attached to the dining room. There is also a lot of furniture packed in this space. What type of home theatre setup options would work best for me? I'm thinking that maybe small speakers mounted on the wall might work well. Positioning surrounds above and behind couches may be difficult and strange looking. What about the single "surround bar" style speaker that produces the virtual surround? Is that a possible solution? Perhaps just a nice 2.1 system would be best. Thanks for your help. Any suggestions or comments are greatly appreciated! If it helps, I was thinking about spending around $300 on a refurb Onkyo 5.1 system to give you an idea of my price range.
