Anyone else fed up with Combos and higher pricing?

Not sure I get whats going on with HD side of things...everywhere I look it's either another Combo or pricing near $40 for new releases??? What's up with that?

Bourne Ultimatum. Miami Vice and how many more are gone combo! I'm not paying that for a movie.
Some of the Blu ray exclusive can be had on Import discs...but the price is way high as well. By the time you buy a **** load of those you could have gotten a P3 to play the BD discs on. Plus then there's be a lot more choice.

Does any1 else feel they are getting short changed?
I think I will add a PS3 to my A2 over Christmas. And I don't play games!

Just to be clear, pricing in Canada seems to be way off to some of the US prices.
Especially Walmart!!

Wait for a non combo re-release like the rest of us.

Fedup with Combos? No, Pricing, yes.

The tech is ok with me. It serves its purpose. But being charged $37.99 shelf price is absolutely RETARDED.

No, I don't buy em, haven't even run across a combo-only title I've wanted in a long long time.

what's the deal with combo disks anyway? Are they 2 separate discs that are packaged? Is it like a dual sided disc or something? If its a dual-sided, can the regular side be played in a standard dvd player?

One could argue that paying msrp / shelf price for a combo disc is MORE retarded

With all the discount codes and sales going on this time of year, it should be easy to get any non-"special" release/edition of a movie for $25 or less.
