Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has heard the new Cadence CSX-15 in action yet?

Ok, the answer appears to be "no".

It seems like their X-SUB was well received, so I am assuming that the CSX line will also meet and/or exceed expectations.

They are much better then the Xsub12. The amp was completely redesigned and they made some improvements to the driver.. They are new to the market so reviews will come shortly..

Bumping this thread to see if there is any additional feedback on this sub.

I know the 12" scored highly in music but lost out to the BIC 100 in low end grunt in the budget feedback i researched. For 90 bucks more I am wondering if this would give the best of both worlds or if I am better off moving to ED at the 350 dollar range. I already ordered an ED for my main room, just looking for a sub for a second room.

Bought the CSX 15 for my son and played with it for a week or so. I've got some questions for Cadence before I post anything...should be up in a couple of days.

isn't always better to have multiple brands of equipment in the house to compare or that is what a tell my wife, I am just comparing. I also look at it like this, you go to a ice cream shop and everything flavor sounds good...so you wished you had one of each

Your mind works entirely too similar to mine! I am slowly turning my house into my own private test lab madhouse.

yeah, I was an accessory machine this past year, with this brand of cable....speaker cables, power cables and interconnects. This was the only way that I could really see what would sound best with my components with my environment. Stepping up and doing this with speakers and subs is a little more costly, but hey at least you can compare. The gift of this hobby

Well as for ice cream, that's a lot of lick'in to have all the flavors.

As for more speakers, that's a lot of movin --- my back, oh my back
