There is nothing about a warranty or return policy anywhere on my receipt. I have had this discussion since joining AVS. Costco lowered their "warranty policy" (actually, a "no-questions-asked return policy) from lifetime to 3-months on specifically designated consumer electronics. Dvd players (SD or HD) are not on the list. This was generated by folks who "rent" equipment from Costco. In fact, when I was returning unopened Halloween candy yesterday, the person in front of me returned a three-year-old electronics item (couldn't see the item, but it sure looked like a cell phone, which are on the list, and they took it back)
