Got it now. For some reason I always have to create a new corporate perks account to get the discount to work.

Thanks for the tip, I just ordered one too thru the Corporate Perks website.

What is the address for the Corporate Perks website? Is this a restricted site that only some people can access? Is there a code that one needs to enter to get the $125 price. I'm sorry to ask all these questions because the Panasonic site shows the price as $137 and change.

Also, do I have to sign up for a specific program to be able to get the $125 price?

Thanks.

Here's the link: http://us.corporateperks.com/overwhelmingoffer

You need to sign-up for free, then you'll be given a code for the $125 price. Per my previous post, I just bought one a few minutes ago.

Are you sure the dongle is included in the price of $125? I do not see it in the specs, and they suggest purchasing the dongle when you buy the player at checkout.

After looking over the Black Friday deals in the newspaper today, it looks like -many- stores are offering the Sony BDP-BX37 (with HDMI cable) / BDP-S370 (without the HDMI cable) for just under a $100 dollars.

I got my BX37 a few weeks ago at Sams for 94.86 plus tax.

Would you guys say that Pan 85 offers the best bang for your buck at $125 compared to all other medium ranged Blu ray players?

Yes

Our Walmart has a huge stack of LG blu players, I forget the model, but it's a networked one, already set out for $65.00. Heck with getting in line for the Magnavox one that's going on sale in the morning....
So when you say "networked one" do mean that it is one with built in Wi-Fi and not one that you need to buy a Wi-Fi USB adapter?

That's a good question, and to be honest, I was in a hurry when I walked past them, so I didn't get a good look at the box in any sort of detail, other than I saw the price and the box said "networked" on it. I think it might be the BD550 model, but I'm not positive. The 550 doesn't have wi-fi built-in. I can't find an LG listed on their website for the price it is in our local store......

The ones I saw were WiFi ready. i.e. no built in WiFi.

This does NOT have Netflix--someone at slickdeals site called Magnavox to confirm--it's the 5130 model that does, and apparently magnavox has been getting calls all morning about this by people who noticed the manual & website specs say NOTHING about Netflix. Walmart's ad is wrong!

Is that deal dead now? EDIT: Nevermind I figured it out. Had to get to the Panasonic portion. Thanks.

Walmart is OOS online for the Magnavox.

Best deals I came across was
I picked up 2 NIB Pioneer 320 and 1 NIB Sony ES Player BDP-S1000ES for $99/ea.
And a demo Pioneer 320 for $70

Granted no web services but quality picture and audio

Thanks Tim.

$125 is indeed a killer price for the Panasonic BD85. Thanks also to Acee0 for finding it.
been trying to get this done all day. somehow I got the panny bd85 to show on panasonic as 125 by going thru perks, and it stays 125 through the process until the "payment" area where it says merchandise $125, FREE estimated ship, $6.88 tax, but 144.38 as estimated order total. its listing as 137.50 when i get to this step for some reason. in my process i didn't use/need to use the red "workplace discounts" option because it didn't allow my job when i tried it, and because i used the instructions for going through perks. is there a coupon code that can/needs to be put in? can anyone help?
