Costco still has a lifetime return policy on all of their goods, EXCEPT: TV's and a select few other products have a 90 Day return policy.


But DVD players are not included in that 90 day return policy.


DVD players are included in the lifetime return policy.

At least at Fry's anyway. I was in there this morning and I always scan the section and this caught my eye.

It the same 300 box with a "slip cover" on top that says "bonus, Spiderman 3 included"

Anyone else not able to get the AAA 10% CC coupon emailed to them? I was going to pick up the Panasonic DMP-BD30 this A.M., but no joy on the emailed coupon.

I found the Amazon vote for 6 link on the HD-DVD player forum, and I was about to vote for the Toshiba HD-A35, until I saw it was up against a blu-ray player for the same price. To get format neutral, buy a HD-A35 for $150 and then $400 for a blu-ray player, or $150 for the Samsung BD P1400 and an HD-A3 from Sears for $170? Its a no brainer. I switched and voted for the Samsung, but the overall vote is still leaning towards making the Toshiba the only one offered at supper low prices!

It seems indeed that the Samsung BDP1400 may be in for some price cutting come the Holiday season.
Buy.com is selling it already at $339 (without any coupons and without having to open a store card). Free shipping included.

Yes, I've had the same problem this week. Since I work very close to a AAA office, I walked over at lunch to ask about it today. They were very helpful, they put me through on the phone to a person at HQ in charge of this promotion. She said it was usually a spam filter issue to cause this problem. But they were nice enough to generate a coupon for me on the spot. Thanks again to them.

Thanks, Chuck! I'll get over there tomorrow. I actually talked to them (the local office) today, they put me off, so if I can't get it 1st thing in the AM, I'll be frowning over somebody's desk 'till I get a coupon
Re: the spam filter thing, I've had Yahoo junk my CC coupons before so I always check the bulk box... no joy today

they have a no tax promo a 13% savings here in BC on everything in the store, it's on till Nov 16th from 5pm to close. So I cop me a PS3 80 gig bundle with Motostorm and to top it off they threw in MLB 07 The Show and got a further $20off for some reason, so total cost to me was $480.99.

Yep, live and learn! Plus, I finally read the Samsung 1400 thread and found that only roughly 1/3 people who bight one are keeping it due to numerous problems, so I may have stepped on it twice over there! (especially since I voted on the Wii instead of the PS3, since I have virtually never used my PS2!)

Wal-Mart has just released some of the secret items for the black friday and the Saturday, Nov. 24 secret item sales. One of the items for the Saturday secret item sale will be 10 free Blu-Ray titles with the purchase of an 80 GB PS3 for $499. Stores will receive additional quantities of titles to support the quantity of PS3's available for the sale. All titles must be selected at the time of purchase and will be price overridden for free. All titles must also be under $30. No word on quantities for individual stores.

This sounds like a good deal, especially if the 5 free Blu-ray disks from the BDA are also allowed (15 movies in all). I assume that you get to choose 10 movies in the store and can then send away for the 5 free by rebate? The only problem is there wasn't much of a selection of movies at my local Wal Mart and it would be hard to pick 10 I'd really want (or that weren't already part of the 5 free by rebate). Do you know if they'll be boosting up the selection of movies too and not just the quantities of the ones they currently carry?

I think this is wrong, I called someone from Wal-Mart and they told me the deal will be 10 Free movies, but 5 in store and 5 mail in rebate and not 10 in store. Which makes more since to me.
