I just picked one up at BB for 149.99 + tax. I showed them the Sears Ad and they honored. Initially they said that they would honor only in-store prices but then the manager decided to honor the online price as well.

For some reason they're trying to charge me sales tax and I'm buying in NH...that's a little odd.

If there is a Sears store in your state they have to charge you tax.

I picked up my BD35 at merchandise pickup 5 minutes later...... singing all the way home.

You say your order went through fine. Did you also get an email confirmation before you went to the store?

I have two order confirmations, one for the FL store and then a second one with my home address (yet when you click the "store hours" it does show my local store). I have yet to receive an email confirmation.

I'm itching to go pick this up before something changes.

Yes, I received an email confirmation before I went in (5 seconds after I ordered online). I already knew that my local sears had it in stock so it was a no brainer.

It's probably trying to ship to the Florida store. Remove the BD35 and go through the process again. It gave me Florida sales tax at first and went it worked right it was at the higher Washington sales tax rate.

The final review page when ordering will list the Ft. Lauderdale Florida store for pickup if it's screwed up. This won't work. You need to get the final review page to list your home address or your local store. Be sure and add the filler item at a local store first.

But there is no state sales tax in NH.

Thanks, it's been at least an hour since I placed my order and no email confirmation.

Sears.com still shows the Est. Arrival: as pending e-mail confirmation.

It's not listing any store for the pick up but it says "Pick-up" at my home address. The right pricing, but it's still trying to add a sales tax of $7.50 which would make sense if I were picking it up at my home.

Some people on slickdeals.net have now reported that their orders have shipped, with a tracking number, so I guess I just have to wait a bit.

I have it in my cart, but can't select a store. Any tips for proceeding?

Just purchased a DMP-BD35 at sears for $139.99.

It went on sale on their website this morning for $149.99, but it showed it was out of stock. I printed the sale price and went to the local Sears. The sales associate said they had 3 in stock and that they would match the price plus 10%. I dont think he noticed that it was out of stock as their policy says it must be in stock to price match. Either way, great price for a great machine.

for those who bought the panny bd-35 at sears.com last week for 225.00, call 800-349-4358 (sears.com) for a price adjustment under their price protection policy.

I just got off the phone and had my price adjusted to 149.99..what a deal!

hope it works for you.

I also had some trouble when I went to pickup. They said it wasnt showing up that I bought it in the system. I argued that my visa had been charged and I know you have them in stock. So I think they got sick of me and just gave it to me. I hate being like that but wanted to get the deal.

Got the exact same deal just now. Out the door for $148 after tax. I just called the store, they had 5 at the time, and asked them to hold me one. Went in and picked it up, and the last few of them went on hold while the guy was ringing me up. Seems like word is getting out, so grab them while you can.

I went to one of my local Sears and they refuse to price match it. So I went to another Sears 10 miles away and they price matched with ease.

I don't even want this damn player, but I just bought one for local store pick up anyway.

After the free movie rebate, it's like getting a BD player for $100. Maybe I'll try to sell it on Ebay, maybe I'll put it in the kids game room (with a current SD TV), maybe I'll just return it.

Don't know yet, but couldn't pass it up.

PS. For those that are members of fatwallet, you get 4% cashback, so that saved me another $6.

Ok, folks. I took my receipt to Sears to pick up the unit. The Pick-Up Window had no record of the purchase, sent me to Electronics...where they said they couldn't do anything because it was purchased on-line...separate system. Told me I had to wait for an e-mail conformation that the unit had arrived at the store. Of course they had plenty of units for sale to retail customers but the price was $249.

Bottom line: Unless you have an hour or two to burn, wait until you get an e-mail confirmation...but keep in mind that it may never come since this solution was a spoof to begin with.

Wouldn't you know it. Finally the deal I've been waiting on, and I'm on vacation at Myrtle Beach. I have a laptop with internet access, but no printer. I looked on slickdeals.net, and the only Panny 35 deal I saw was for $158 and said expired. Anyone have any ideas for a person that doesn't have access to a printer to try and get this Sears deal for $149????

Ebay pirates aren't going to do that well selling this player as there will be about a thousand of them on there..

Yeah I don't think I'm going to get the confirmation email either. It's been 3 hours already. Oh well, there will be many more deals on these players. This is just the beginning of the big deals for these.

Got my shipping notification and tracking number from Sears for the BD35.

Agreed. If I do decide to sell it, it wouldn't be to make much of a profit. I'll probably end up keeping it, but you never know.

Three options:
1. Keep the Sears sale page on your laptop screen and take the laptop with you to a nearby Sears store: or
2. If you're staying in a hotel that has a computer/printer set up in the lobby, use it.
3. Walk into the lobby of any hotel near you and use their lobby computer and printer, and act like you're a guest there...hey, in a way you are a guest there.
Good Luck!

I asked the guy what about the people that already bought it online and he said that possibly their order would be canceled.

Keep us posted if you were lucky enough to get one ordered.

If that was true they would have yanked it from their site immediately. Like others have posted, I just walked into Sears and they brought it up on the Sears.com website for $149.99 and gave me that price right there. They didn't have any in stock, but it's in the local warehouse and I'll have it Friday.
Wow, I was hoping to see this player drop below $200, but $150? Great deal!

I printed out the Sears page, went to Best Buy and grabbed the lone BD35 box they had on the shelf. Cashier price matched right away and all I had to wait for was manager approval. He came over, typed in his ID and password and I was on my way. He didn't even bother to see what I was buying. In and out in 5 minutes.

$149.99 plus tax. I had set my limit to $150 for buying a Blu Ray player. I didn't think I'd find it this quickly, especially not for the Panny BD35!

I am officially purple now! The Dark Knight will be my first purchase in 2 weeks!

I bought a BD35 last week from Best Buy. Went in this morning and, after some hesitation and an attempt to call the local Sears (they were closed!), they gave me the price match. Got it for $139.99 plus tax. Amazing. I got rid of my Samsung UP5000 and just wanted to spend the same on a BD35, but I ended up spending $75 less.

The way they sold out so fast, I was thinking Sears must have only a dozen of them.
