There don't seem to be many deals on ebay at all for things that are being sought after, like HD DVD movies and higher end HD DVD players (A35,XA2). $299 (ubid.com) is the most I'll pay for a second XA2, and I agree with you on the movie auctions as well. Some people are paying way more than retail for used discs. Amazon marketplace is where I've found better deals on used discs, or half .com If it's an obscure title with low demand, like the mail in freebie choice titles, you may find a good deal, but for a new release or something only a few weeks old, forget it. I'm a sniper, LOL, and I've been outsniped a lot lately by people paying way more than they should have.
