Alright, I have my XA2 hooked up to my network through a wireless game adapter (Linksys WGA54G) that I have used with my HD DVD players since I got my A1 before official launch. When I got the XA2 last month I had no problem hooking it up and downloading firmware with this method, nor did I have a problem with the extras on Transformers.
Starting about two days ago, I can no longer get my XA2 to connect to my network. I have the Linksys adapter running through a hub and hooked in to Pio Elite 94TXH and my Slingbox. I have no problems connecting these to the net only my XA2. I have unplugged and reset my router, the adapter and the hub. The Pio and the Sling can still connect, but my XA2 will not.
When I go to the HDCP screen on the XA2 it shows that an IP address has been assigned and that does show on my router DHCP table as being connected to the network, but on the XA2 it does not show a gateway and it will not connect to my DNS server. I don't know what else to do. I have reset the player numerous times, initialized the player and I still cannot connect. I have tried to connect to net content on discs and I have even tried to connect to the update server and all it say is "Can Not Find Server".
I should mention that all devices that connect to my network (about 10 total) have no problems, only the XA2.
