HK 135 popping

My old Sony finally took a dive and I ended up buying a refurb 135 from HK on ebay. I got it today, hooked everything up and now my center channel pops whenever I change modes or sound settings which I could live with. But on my PS3 whenever I scroll around the menu it pops, which I cannot tolerate.

I know it's not wiring or my speakers so something has to be wrong with the center channel input on the receiver.

Is this a known problem with this model or did I just get some bad luck? The sound quality is awesome compared to my Sony but I don't think I'll buy the same model again. Hopefully HK will just refund my money and I can buy something else.

I'd try to work out an exchange or return as defective. You can state that since this is already a refurb, you're concerned that something else might go wrong down the road even after a repair's done. It's also not fair to you that you have to wait for a repair after just receiving it.
