50% of the time when I put a new -R into the player I get the message "Disc is not DVD format". When I put the same disc into my Denon it takes off perfectly. I have the latest 2.7 download. I'm using Tayo Yuden's and have never had this problem in the last 4 years with several different DVD players. The manual clearly states that it plays back -R.
