Purchasing these speakers sight unseen was a nail bitter for three months, but the wait was more than worth it. Dropping 4k on speakers you never heard before, is not an easy task either. I now understand all the glowing reviews on Salk speakers, they are something to get your ears on. What a work of art... Thank you, Jim!!

Awesome! Are you crossing them over to subs yet, or listening full range?

I have a Onyko- 5509 Processor and use Audyssey XT 32 for Movies.I use DIRECT for Music and my Salk Veracity ST sound FANTASTIC with out a SUB.I swear they go down to 32-DB for 2 CH Music using DIRECT.You all will be AMAZED with the sound of these great speakers.I just ordered a Supercharged Center and can not wait to hear the 3 front CH for Music and Movies as I believe they will sound very special.

Thanks for your reply. I have an older Velodyne sub that plays to 28 Hz, but I don't think it's the best for music...it pairs well with my 18 year old Polks, but it's about to be outclassed!

I have the SC Center coming as well...they shipped today. I don't have an ETA from FedEx yet, but I'm hoping they will arrive on Friday.

Just received my dual JTR S1's today. They are crossed at 80hz for now. The bass is absolutely INSANE! biggrin.gif Was using dual SB13's that will be for sale shortly...

Just played around listening to them "full range". These babies dig DEEP! I had to put my ears up to the subwoofers to make sure they were turned off. It's absolutely amazing to hear the depth and sound those small 6" speakers can produce. Kudos to Jim and the crew on the cabinet design! Stunning!

I replaced my older Polk LSi15's. Yep, they were definitely outclassed! You'll hear music like you've never heard before. I'm contemplating not getting a center, I don't sit off-axis and the speakers are doing a great job right now. A center might actually be hindering in my setup.

Not sure if hindering is the right word here, but it certainly could be your preference not to have one. Not everyone likes having a center channel.

Hindering, as in placement options. It would be inside a cabinet and it will definitely not be exact match like the mains, kinda "hindering" to me. I'm quite content for now, we'll see...

Ok, they're on the truck for delivery, but with today's holiday, I will get them tomorrow!

Happy Independence Day!

I received my SCST and SCSC yesterday and the finish is everything I hoped it would be. I will get the requisite pictures posted once I figure out how to post them. As to sound qaulity......I have not hooked them up yet. I know, I know, what's wrong with me. I don't have any cables on hand as my other speakers are all mounted on the wall and the cables are fished in the wall also. Also the theater room these were intended for is still a month (or a little more) away from completion. Off to the hardware store for me after work tomorrow to pick up a short run of cable.

Congrats. I know you'll like them. I do!
Well, they arrived yesterday, and I have to say I am beyond pleased! I can't make myself leave the couch!

Here are a few pics:

Sweeeet Speakers Ace Deprave! Love the custom look. Is it too early or can you give us some comparisons to your previous speakers?

Thank you!!!

They are in a complete different class than my 17 year old Polks, but that should come as no surprise. They just sound...real. Especially acoustic music...it sounds like you are in the same room as the musician(s). Stunning.

Very Nice ace! Maybe you will invite me to come listen someday! Only about an hour away from you!

This is a very nice batch of veneer and we are fast running out of it. But we did have enough for this pair of SoundScape 8's and a couple of other pairs of speakers we are currently working on. Like my personal pair, these were done in a hand-rubbed, high gloss finish.

Sebastian will arrive within the next hour or so to pick them up and take them home.

Here are some pictures...

And a close-up...

Happy listening Sebastian!

WOW! Simply amazing~*

Love what I see here.

What's the *real time* wait for a pair of SongSeries Towers right now. Looking for feedback on delivery times from recent orders. Thanks.
Around 2-3 months, but worth the wait!smile.gif

You can check audiocircle if you'd like to find some used.

Almost exactly 2.5 months for me. A few more details are here.

For me it was definitely worth the wait.
I can wait, no problem.

Just curious as there's a lot of enthusiasm here. And I like accuracy... smile.gif

Thanks.

^^^^If you like accuracy then you are 110% in the right place.

So long as we're being "accurate" I think you meant 100% biggrin.gif
post #8878 of 9127
100% is for accuracy measurement. The other extra 10% is for pride of ownership.

Thanks, obviously mine is only one of many, many positive testimonials both here on AVS as well as on AC.

If you haven't already done so, I would point you to 2 particular (lengthy) threads that originally piqued my interest in the Salk brand. They are a little bit dated now but are IMO still valuable reading as you continue your search. Happy reading.

I just purchased a Parasound 2100 Pre to go with my Veracity ST speakers and my new Supercharged Center which should arrive mid August.I have seen a few good reviews on the 2100 and hope it makes my system sing even SWEETER.The Veracity ST have been in my system for a month are they sound GREAT.I use no Subs when playing Music and also use Direct in my Onkyo-5509 and the Bass simply blows me away.If anyone has any comments about the Parasond-2100 please post .
Thanks Bruce
