Yes, it is.
Does anyone help to use our test FW?
We have a solution but we are afraid it to make another trouble.
Please give me PM.
You could try running auto channel preset with the cable off again to clear the channels, then run auto channel preset once more with the cable still off. When it gets to DTV 19 connect the cable again. Hopefully you can get the cable connected again before auto channel preset passes DTV 20 because that's where your PBS channels are. When it is finished programming the channels check for your PBS stations. You should be able to directly tune them on virtual 2.2 and 7.2. If you can tune them in you might be able to use manual channel preset to add DTV 18 again. Hopefully the manual channel preset will recognize 2.2 and 7.2 are already taken by the PBS stations and assign Me and W+ to some other virtual channel numbers.
Any guess why this has happened since I used to get all PBS stations on 3.x? Corrupt PSIP data?
Can someone confirm my thoughts re 515 Freeze and Analog Interference.
The analog tuner becomes useless once Comcast here completes the Digital Migration. If I want to view or record something it will either be a Clear QAM channel using the 515 Digital Tuner or an output from my Set Top Box via the 515 L1 input. This being the case then there should be no "Analog Interference" issue.
A third way is to use a Comcast DTA box into the 515 which would require that the 515 Analog Tuner be enabled for Channel 3 only.
Am I correct in my assumptions?
Newbie here who need some help. Tried searching through the forum but I'm having problems still. I'm a bit confused and the manual hasn't helped much.
Time Warner cable w/Scientic Atlanta 4250HDC box,
Magnavox 42"LCD TV.
My simple setup:
TWC cable in to my cable box. HDMI cable from cable box to TV. Works perfect.
S-video with red/white audio cables from cable box to Magnavox DVR. HDMI from DVR to secondary HDMI input of TV.
I turn on my DVR and the unit outputs the audio fine but I get this video screen on my TV stating that the display is unauthorized(?), that I need an HDCP compatible input with a code HDCP-020. I assume it is some type of copyright issue but I can't get any picture at all. I don't subscribe to any premium channels so why is this happening?
I then removed the s-video connection between the cable box and DVR and replaced it componet connectors. Same thing, no video output. Switch to red, white, yellow RCA connectors and still no video output.
All that I want to do is record what is output from my cable box onto the DVR. Not interested in time shifting etc. What I see is what I want to record. Nothing special.
Please, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure I digested your entire post, but you should use a splitter on your incoming cable company coax, and send one feed to the STB and the other directly to the 515, and scan for channels. That way you can record one show and watch another at the same time, independent of the STB.
