Mitsubishi WD-Y577

Circuit City currently has a deep discount on this set. I can't find anything but brief mentions of it on the forum. Are there any particularly good or bad points to this model? I was considering getting a 42-46" LCD, but the price on this seems too good to pass up for the size increase if it doesn't have any hidden problems. Keep in mind I haven't been to the store to see it in person yet.

I'm trying to get some info on this myself. Anyone? Is this a new model? Is Mitsubishi a quality DLP manufacturer?

Just tryin to help us both out!

I just bought one today and its awesome. I just sold my old Mits crt 65" rear projection and I too could not pass up the Circuit City price. The picture is amazing!

I am just having a issue where the cable input is always being detected as 1080i so all the screen format options are not available. Im sure its me so I am looking.

I also have a PS3 hooked up HDMI and Blue-ray movies look great!

I am very happy with it, I did alot of reviews too before buying.

My HD box only puts out 1080i as well but it still looks incredible at that resolution.
