Hi everyone,
I recently bought a Pio 6010. I did the 100 hours break in process and am now ready to start to fully enjoying it
I would like to get the most out of it and enjoy the best possible PQ and therefore I wanted to have a professional come over and calibrate it.
I do however have a few questions:
1. Are there several methods of calibration? Should I choose something specific or there's only one way to calibrate a plasma TV?
2. If I get TV calibrated and after several months I move to a different apartment, do I have to re-calibrate it?
3. If for some reason I am not happy with the results, is there a way to revert to the previous settings?
4. Can the calibrator ruin something in the TV? Does calibration void the warranty? I heard that calibrators need to go to the service menu, is that allowed by Pioneer?
5. I am looking for someone in NY, any recommendation would be very helpful.
6. Anything else I should be aware of?
As you can see, I am not knowledgeable when it comes to calibration so your tips and recommendation are much appreciated!
Thank you all in advance,
Gurt.
