Panasonic TH-50PE700U anyone have it yet???

I am looking at the Panny TH-50PE700U and would like some comments. Anyone have this set yet??? Costco has it discounted and it is near the same price as online with online shipping added, Costco shipping is free. I have read a lot of threads about the Panny's and it sounds like this might be the set for me. It is a huge investment but I have waited long enough and I am ready to take the plunge, plus I finally talked the better half into it. Christmas present to us

It is exactly the same as the 50PZ700U; it is the Costco version. I called Panasonic and that is what I was told. For what it is worth Consumer Reports rated it #1.

The differences between the PE700 and the PZ700 are that the PE's have the speakers on the side, have a matte-finished bezel, and have a plastic "duck foot" stand vs the metal pedestal stand on the PZ. I ended up buying the the PE700 from Sam's Club because my wife preferred the non glossy, matte bezel...couldn't be happier with it!

What is your input? How does SD look?

SD looks decent overall. Some shows/channels look really good while others don't.
