How good are the klipsch synergy 3 series speakers? - Page 2

I just have to decide what to do with the JBL 6.1 channel speakers I got on black friday two years ago . I might use one for the center and get two other rear speakers. Any thoughts anyone?

Went into my local BB and picked these up at around 6 AM. Didn't think too many people would be out looking for speakers with all of the TV deals going on, so I had no trouble picking up a pair. So far so good, love the speakers. I have a crappy receiver but I plan on upgrading soon, and they still sound great. I'll probably also pick up the C-3, does anyone have one? If so, what are people's thoughts on the center speaker?

Just picked them up online (15 minutes before the deal ends I believe). Was almost certain on buying JBL Stadium Venue from amazon (150 a piece), but went out in Best Buy store to compare one on one with F3, and I leaned more towards the F3. I personally found the F3 crispier and cleaner (some ppl might term the same as "harsh" or "too bright") so went with Klipsch. Will be hooking them up with my Onkyo TX-SR505. Still need to buy the center and rear. I was earlier planning the JBL venue series voice center channel (75$ approx) to go with my JBL stadium, but now as I got the Klipsch I am not sure if I should still go with JBL voice for center channel. I am looking at something under $150 for center (on limited budget). Any suggestions for the center channel? whether I should stick with Klipsch or I can go to JBL (or other brand) and if Klipsch, which model would be a good and not-overly-expense choice.

I did not like the klipsch. I liked the Polk R50's by far.

The R50's are selling for 50$ I think at frys. I just picked up the whole set of Klipsch for my little game room. 980 OTD isn't a bad price. They're at full price right now, so I saved a good 500$. Center and sub are on the way. Finally will get to enjoy 5.1 on my 605 that I've had pre-ordered. Starting out small for now. Will see how things goes.

BTW BF is great. 42in 1080p LCD for under 1k!
