I also wonder though, with the investment in the SD DVD changers, how well SD DVD can do on that size screen? But I guess there's no choice for a lot of material anyway, since not everything is / will be available as HD media.
I have a 360, and have used it for streaming from a media server - but I always go back to my old hacked xbox 1 w/ Xbox Media Center, it just blows away any other solution I've tried - and no transcoding etc. needed, it'll play just about anything (up to DVD res, and a little more).
I like your/your wife's taste in interior design - we used tumbled travertine tiles in a Versaille pattern and santos mahogany floors in our (somewhat smaller ;-) house.
It is my pleasure to share my theater. I have been able to get much help from AVSForums, and I hope in some way, this is helpful to others.
Great question about the SD DVD. I have not been able to test it, but I hope the upconverting from my Media Center and my HD DVD players (and hopefully a new Blu-Ray player) will help with the image.
I've seen and heard about the original hacked XBox's and how good they are. I may need to revisit that alternative when I have some free time.
In terms of the travertine and the santos mahogany, your wife and my wife must have been watching the same HGTV show! LOL. I'd love to see photos of your home, so please post some pics if you get the chance. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Curious what company did you get the widebody done from? I use to have a lot of contact with a rather well known member in the NSX crowd that made one of the best JGTC widebody replicas available. I was very close to purchasing a JGTC widebody he was working on for one of my MKIV Supras. Seeing as your in CA, I'm sure you've seen plenty of those 93-98 Supras around. Don't let them rag on you to much though. I know many of the supraforum members, especially out in Cali. like to give NSX owners a hard time, but deep down a lot of them really like the car. I know I do...just not as much as my Supras.
A side note for all those car puffs out there, check out road&track. They did an article on the new Nissan Skyline GT-R that is finally coming to the states. Looks like it is going to be the new big thing at about 70k.
K, back on topic.
Thanks for your comments.
I was originally looking at Comptech, but they discontinued their widebody, and then they went bankrupt for a while, so I could not get their widebody kit. However, there was a vendor who seemed to have copied their molds, so I purchased their kit. Therefore, my widebody is CT-like, but not original.
As for your friend, are you talking about Sonny or Daniel (JDMnsxR on NSXPrime)? The GT-ONE, Downforce, and Cantrell Concepts kits are beautiful widebodys!
You really can't compete with a Supra that has been modded to 700hp, 800hp, or even a 1000hp in a straight line. The thing is that it's not prohibitively expensive to mod the Supra to those HP levels. To try to get a NSX to that level would require almost the price of the actual car!
I've had a R&T subscription since I started collecting Hot Wheels. I got the issue and read about how incredible the Skyline is. I hope Honda can do something similar, or the fanfare they've projected about the new NSX for the past 6 years is all fluff. Ok... back on topic.

Hi Bogg, I've read your posts as well, and I've come to the conclusion that we are both nice guys!
Gotta love that popcorn maker!

Sorry Art that I've not provided finished shots. I'm expediting the work now. I'd love to have a meet at my place. If you ever are in the SF Bay Area, you need to let me know so I can invite you.
I will post some more pictures shortly.
Thank you all.
