valkyrie originally reported the problem.
You're probably right, because I don't see any similar scrathes on the cardboard under the discs. Only disc 2 of my set looks really bad (but not deep scratches, just a lot), but it seemed to play OK, so I'm debating sending it back only to possibly wind up with a really badly scratched set.
Beautiful packaging though. I just really hate the rubber spindles.

Only thing good I can say about them is when the discs are on them, they don't spin; so it can't be shipping damage either.
