Sub Suggestions for Smallish Room??

I'm looking for sub suggestions for HT and high end musical system. Thinking of dual subs placed next to mains for best integration. Room is basically 2 rooms of identical size, 11.5' X13.5' X 8', or about 2500 sq ft. An open doorway seperates the two. Space is limited but I want to accomodate the largest driver/air movement without overloading the rooms too much. I'm a bit skeptical that a ported design will be as tight as a sealed design in such small rooms. But I'm open to suggestions.

Sorry for this never ending question lol

I have a psb Subseries 5i in a small room. Awesome sub for the $$. You should search eBay - I got mine for a really good deal from an authorized psb dealer.

How about an HSU even though ported it's musical and will fill up
a room up to 3,000 cu ft.......link:

or if you want a larger sub that is non-ported and can assemble
(easy to do in 45 min) a Dayton Titanic 12" MKlll....link:

Of course I only recommended these cause I'm a fanboy of
HSU and Parts Express subs.
I'm sure other people will jump in here with SVS, eD, etc and so
on and recommend them also....vardo

Thanks guys. Yeah, it seems eD and Epik subs seem to be some of the better values. I'd get a couple of JLaudio f113s if I had the money But sealed, high exc. drivers and large amped subs would be ideal for most bass in a smallish/smaller box.

Another option is a SVS SB12+. I have one, my second SVS, and it does a good job filling my 2600 cubic foot room that's open to the rest of the floor. It doesn't reach as low as some other subs, but it does reach 27 Hz at -6dB in my room.
