correct driver for HDDVD playback on a 9800pro

PDVD says i have a incorrect driver installed.I already have the latest "Driver Packaging Version 8.432-071101a-054435C-ATI".

Do i need to use a specific version?

9800 isn't supported probably since it has no HDCP function. Also, if you have that card, that would hint your cpu is a p4 3ghz or less, which isn't enough for smooth playback without hardware acceleration.

i have a p4 2.6ghz running @ 3.2ghz.Wich player will i be able to use for playback ?

none, your rig just isn't fast enough.

I have something very similiar in my living room, and I'm sitting on my hands waiting for low cost mobo's with integrated acceleration before I make the jump.

Thats a damn shame. I thought quiting PC gaming would relieve me of the costs of upgrading , I was wrong !
