HD-A2 vs HD-XA2

Just scored the HD-XA2 for $300, I already had the HD-A2 for $89. I know that the XA2 is the flagship but is the only difference [beside audio] the SD upconvert? I haven't hook it up yet but I love the upconvert of the A2 and find it hard to believe that the XA2 could be that much better. The reason I bought this is cause I can't resiest I great deal.

Here is how I got that price; I seen a big ad in the newspaper for a big local electronic store. It showed the HD-XA2 reg priced @ $299 on sale for $2496.00.
I knew everything was wrong but I was looking for an XA2 locally at a good price before getting the A2 and never did check this store. So I call and tell them of the typo and ask what is for sale at what price. The girl tells me it is the XA2 and the price is $249.00. I ask her to make sure and to check stock, I stress to her that the price don't sound right. She double checks and tells me that that indeed is the price and they have one left. I take her name and tell her to hold it for me and I'll be there after work. Well I get there and a salesman tells me its a typo and the A3 is on sale for $249.00. Well I tell them my story, he checks with the girl and gives me a price of $299. I wasn't gonna argue for $249.

You got a steal buddy! Wanna sell it for a $1 profit?

Seriously though, the Reon chip those things have is about as good as it gets for SD upconversion. Plus it will do HBR audio which the A2 will not do, plus it has 5.1 analog outputs in case your receiver doesn't do HDMI audio.
