help for deciding 40in samsung 61 or sony s3000

hello all.. i need some advice in deciding between a 40inch samsung 61 series or a 40inch sony s3000.. i will use the tv mainly for sd veiwing and hd mainly for sports and some xbox360 gaming. which has better pq and less problems. the samsung is only $100 more then the sony and i get 1080p with the samsung.. i compared them both at bb side by side and the sony seemed to have the better color but i thought i can adjust the samsung. also one more question which has a better processor? thanks any help would be appreciated

i have the sony xbr4 and a 46 inch samsung 61... i like my sony better but out of your two i would go with the samsung

well what i found that i like the more natural picture of the sony of the xbr4....as for the lower level sony's i dont really like that much
