If you have an outstanding order with eD, call your credit card company and dispute it. You will not get a response from eD, you will not have the money credited back, you will likely never see your money again unless you take action ASAP. These stories are rampant, and not only here at AVS.
Fortunately, I'm only out about $800, an A3-300 I bought in 2009 that worked for about 6 months then blew an amp. Then they sent me a defective amp. Then they stalled for a year and forced me to pay $100 for a replacement. That one never worked either. They told me I had blown the driver, I purchased a replacement (not from those scumbags) and it had the same issues. Finally eD said it may be the amp, but they are "extremely puzzled". I am now waiting since January for a replacement. While they occasionally answered emails before they received the RMA return, I have not received a single email response since then. So finally I called, Alex went away to 'look into it', came back and said the replacement would be sent the next day, he would do the QC checks himself
. I received UPS notification, its status remains at "billing information received". That was 10 days ago, and guess what - now I get no answer to emails or phone calls.
Liars and scum. Like I said, if you have an outstanding order get your money back now before it's too late.
Edit: I have to add this in, it's actually kind of humorous. While I was still setting up the A3-300 just after I got it my cats were roaming around the room. The front grill wasn't on for 5 minutes before one of my cats brushed against it, breaking three of the four clips that hold it to the sub. I should have returned it then.
