I do not follow all this that closely, just jump in when I get the itch. Last purchase, a Grand Wega. Been a great TV, but now I am starting to get REAL excited about the Pio Kuros.

So, price-wise, what can I expect... prices low now for Xmas, raising slightly after the holidays... or lower prices after the holidays.

Maybe you can wait after CES 2008 in early January.

Kuros don't fluctuate very much.. if you see a good deal, grab it.

i did answer your question which is now or later? buy it now and enjoy it now.

why do you think prices would go up? just dont sweat it, do it now, spend the money NOW=enjoy the kuro NOW. who cares if it goes down $500 after january? by then the 9g will be announced and you'll be on the fence wating on them for 7 months.

I didn't say that prices would go down during CES 2008, but they should be unveiling the 9G Kuros, and if these Kuros are something that rival OLEDS with 1 million:1 contrast ratios, then you might want to wait for them even if they're late next year because that's definitely better to invest in.
