Help - Speakercraft vs Nuvo vs Russound

Thread Starter
We are building a new house and are after a min. 6 zone audio solution. We started with a CAV6.6 w/UNO-S2 but went to a CAA6.6 as we did not want video (but maybe we should - for the future). We are using digital homeware as the main controller and its supported hardware includes both Russound and Nuvo. The Nuvo looked good because the family are very dependant on iPod's and this appeared nicer from a keypad layout.

The installer then suggested we look at Speakercraft MZC-66.

We have never had multi room audio (but it was our request to ensure that it was in the new build) nor have we ever had home automation in any form. The house is to be wired with Cat5e and C-Bus lighting.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I like the Nuvo products myself, but I'm biased as that's what I own. I have several friends who have the Russound and while it functions suitably, I honestly don't like the look of the keypads. Plus the Nuvo Concerto has more wattage per zone than the Russound.
