Got a great deal on an HP m9060n PC. Was planning on using it for work but then got a free Alien Ware through work. I usually build my own and have never had a problem.
I decided to use it as an HTPC.
I can not, for the life of me get anything above 2.0 PCM audio out of this thing.
HDMI - No
SPDIF - No
It is driving me insane.
I have been working on computers for over 15 years and I have never used a product as worthless as Vista.
I would return this (insert word here) thing but I did something stupid. I installed some work applications and copied some work files. That means to get ride of the computer I have to physically take the hard drive to our hard drive shredder and watch it being shredded. I really don't think the computer store will take it back with out a hard drive.
Any help would be great.
