Putting xm antennae outside?

Audiovox CNP2000H XM Radio Mini Tuner Home Dock with Antenna and the Audiovox CNP2000 XM Radio Mini Tuner Cartridge . I have the mini tuner/docking to use with my xm ready Samsung surround sound HT-Tx72 and it works great...as long as I have the antennae outside! I have a metal roof on the house and it won't pick up inside. I placed it on the edge of the roof and it works great. Is it okay to leave this outside, exposed to the elements? Thanks, gary.

Disregard, I finally found the # to xm and called. The lady said it is waterproof and will be okay outside. Thanks, gary.
