I'd almost be with you if AMC was doing what the likes of Bravo does by covering up nearly half the screen at times with snipes for their nonsense, but I can't understand why you pay for cable or satellite, then pay even more to watch the content elsewhere for the little amount of stuff AMC puts on the screen. There aren't really much of any channels that put less on there, so what exactly do you watch on TV?
Since it dosesn't appear you're in a hurry to see the show right when it airs (since you're apparently watching it delayed on I-Tunes), you'd probably be better off with a basic Netflix subscription for stuff available on Blu-ray combined with an Amazon Prime subscription to take advantage of their streaming suplimented by I-Tunes for more immediate gratification on stuff you really, really want to see badly. Add in an antenna, and you can get the Big 4 for free. You'll even likely get the CW, which may or may not be a bonus...
All that could be had for just about the same PER YEAR that your paying PER MONTH for multi-channel service.
I'm not a die-hard cord cutter, but it sounds like you're someone who really ought to. I'm happy with my satellite service, but it sound like you're not the intended market...
