I just about fell on the floor because I was laughing so hard after reading this - thanks so much Waldorf. It is unbelievable, but, sadly true, and apparently getting worse all the time. No respect for the show creators, the content, or the viewers. I no longer watch any channels that do this stuff - you are right, I only watch a few channels now - probably a good thing.

Perfectly put, VisionOn. HD is essentially dead. Between low bandwidth/compression issues, animated bugs etc, the so-called HD home theater experience has been ruined. Again, maybe a good thing, so maybe we spend more time looking out our real windows, and going outside and living a life. I say this as a self-professed TV addict since childhood ( a long time ago). HD was great 5 years ago - even tho there were only a couple of channels they looked great, with none of this bug crappola. There was a time, boys and girls, when, believe it or not, there were NO bugs whatsoever - how did we ever get by??. Now HBO is about the only channel that I am aware of that doesn't use bugs, at least on their HD channels. Showtime has added a 'nice' bug to their HD channel, so bye bye Showtime. I guess if you get a BLu-ray dvd you can still have an immersive home theater experience, but beyond that, it is gone. But to paraphrase HBO, hey, it ain't life, it's only TV.
