samsung DLP hl-t 5087S screen has the light grey blobs.

I just got my new 5087s from amazon yerterday and noticed that there are two overlaped oval light grey blobs on the screen when the tv is on and screen is deep dark. they are around 2.5 inch diameter size.

They will not be noticed when they are in the bright colors zone. But they could be seen in the dark grey zone, like in the dark cave, at night shots. I have never had the DLP before and don't know if it is normal.

anyother suggestions?

I had the same exact problem on my T7288. I don't know if your TV has it, but mine has a bluish/white light below the power button. It was reflecting off the upper left hand corner of the screen and it was only visible when the screen was dark. . Disable the "light effect" under your settings.

Mine bolbs at the left side of the screen. I will try the light effect setting to see if it works.

Will i miss somthing if i disable the "light effect"?
