^I usually avoid factory preset modes on TVs in general but I have to say the setting called "Movie" on this set is very close to what I set mine for in the "User" mode based on test patterns and a blue filter.
Note these settings I'm posting are set for a dimly lit room, the component video input using a 1080i signal from my Motorola DCH3416 cable box/DVR, and viewing exactly
on axis. All bets are off if viewed from even slightly off axis and if that is the more typical way you view your set then don't use these settings:
Indeed this TV has too much red ("red push") but backing down on the color, as the "Movie" mode does and my User settings, lessens the problem somewhat at the expense of a slightly less colorful vibrancy. [leave color temperature set to normal]
edit to add: Color is certainly not this TV's strong point. I only bought this set because I like that it has every kind of input there is, it fits in my small kitchen, and was cheap.
