Gosh, thank you so much, M Zillich for taking the time to assist.!!
Yes, i did have cable tv at one time..there is an output for a coaxial cable. And an old cable which is three feet long, which i once used.
i gave my television away to someone who needed it when i decided i no longer wanted a tv in the house.(or to pay the high cable prices).
But i had second thoughts now that winter is upon us..
so i ordered the portable lcd 7 inch tv sold by lcddigital.tv..
i think that is the website URL
This particular tv has been referred to in this LONG thread..by me and others.
here it ishttp://www.lcddigital.tv/7_tv_digital.html
i am only going to use this little portable when i eat breakfast.
i was hoping to get a LONG ,flexible coaxial cable.. to run it to my breakfast table.
Then i can hopefully see the local affiliate of Fox and their take on the weather, if i am lucky without cable.. and if necessary, i will subscribe to cable once again.
i just wanted to try the tv once to see if it is going to work with a cable.
Thank you for notifying me about radio shack..
somehow i thought that they would not pay the high cable prices, but i know they always have televisions playing..maybe they have a dish with multiple connections.
i will have to go to a neighbors house to try it.
I really want to try it with a cable to ensure that it really will work.
Then i can get the weather channel...and other channels also.
i guess my only question would be
would a 30n foot coaxial cable make the signal into the tv any worse than the regular 3 foot cable which i used to use.?
