need advice on HD DVD player!!

I'm looking for a HD DVD player that can give me the best possible picture quality. I assume that it should put out a 1080p picture. I don't care so much about the audio so much..just the video. I'll be watching it on my new Pioneer elite plasma 50 inch PRO-110FD and I already have a blu-ray. I would like to spend about 300, but Im willing to go higher if its going to give me a better picture quality

i was asking specifically what was best for my TV...dont know if my TV does all of that de-interlacing, converting, etc, etc. that other threads have been talking about already......sorry
