I just bought a NEW 242T FHD 42inch FULL HD Olevia Flat Panel TV (upgrading from a 32HVE Olevia). Previously everything was hooked up via component and it was ALL crystal CLEAR, HD was beautiful and vivid. When i first got the new TV i hooked it up via component as i didnt have HDMi cables at the time. ALL was well. So i was excited to finally be able to use HDMi because i have heard so much good stuff about it. Well i bought HDMI cables and hooked up my 8300HD to it and ran the HDTV setup on the box and now everything is pixelated and grainy and snowy. HD looks horrible. Discovery HD was always pristine and now its pixelated and has anomalies around Text and artifacts! This is the first time using HDMI ever especially on the 8300HD, could the port be defective? Comcast came out and checked the drop and the signal is strong, and the previous TV had no issues on component. Can someone help me PLEASE. The cables i bought are Lextron.
