I watched several of the videos on YouTube ... impressive!
Plant has been singing strongly for the last 20 years, albiet several octaves lower than in their heyday. Obviously he has electronic help getting those octaves back on a few of these songs...
As long as old rockers keep practicing, and keep a powerful voice, they can put on a better show in 2007 than they could in 1977. Acoustic technology has improved nicely, as has musical choreography.
It looks like a straight-up rock show, they didnt fiddle with the songs much. I generally didnt liked it when Plant went on vocal tangents, he tended to sound alittle too orgasmic for my tastes. However, when the band improvised instrumentally, they were incredible. I would like to see some more instrumental exploration of all the cool chords in Kasmir ... that song could be stretched to 15 minutes and I wouldn't mind
I wonder if they did Ocean and Trampled Under Foot?
