Hey guys Call Of Duty 4 is also on sale for $37 bucks today.I was just at my local BestBuy here in San Diego CA.I just went home to grab my $10 off coupon Sony mailed me.I'm going to see if I can get for $27+ tax.I will report back later today.

The ad says that the simpsons and assassin's creed are on sale for the ps3, but COD4 and madden for xbox. They might let you get COD4 for that price, but I know I tried to buy AC for xbox and they wanted full price.

Good luck!

*edit: wrong info, everything is on sale (hurray)

***Update***

Ok everyone I'm back and happy to report I had no problem buying Call Of Duty 4 @ Bestbuy for $37.99 + plus my $10 off coupon from Sony.Final total came out to after $27.99+ 7.75% CA tax = $30.16.I just went to the cash register check out station in the store and the teenage girl scanned both the game and coupon without any problem.

Awesome deal !

If anyone lives in San Diego I bought mine @ the Bestbuy in Mira Mesa and there are plenty of copies of the game left at that store.

I'm glad to see I was wrong, no one should be deprived of COD4 hehe.

Man it even says AC is on sale for 360... I hate bestbuy employees who don't know wth they're talking about.
Leaving to BB now to get COD4. I have it for the 360 but now I'm definitely picking it up for the PS3. Good to finally snatch that up for PS3 since my CrapBOX is being repaired.

We picked this up for $59.99 at CC a couple weeks ago. This was with the help of 2 $24 CC gift gards issued to us for blowing web order pick-ups! Still, I wonder if they would offer a price match adjustment.

Any parental controls for the game - turn off blood , language etc

Follow ESRB ratings and you shouldn't have an issue with this.

If that's the case, why not just say you hate bestbuy employees?
I think there is far more truth on AVS than in most stores, so I trust what I find here.

There is no blood, if there is its minimal, in MP. I dont remember much blood in the campaign either. Even without the blood there are a few parts that I wouldnt recommend a child to see. There is no way to edit language and or blood that I have seen.

That didn't answer his question at all.

Anyway this isn't a game I'd let a kid play even if you could turn off what blood and language there is.

It's a great time to move units before the end of the shopping spree. Similar good deals could be found last year the last few days before Xmas.

I just made $48 off of them in the last 2 days.

Hmmm... what time do they close today. I might be able to order the same item again.

Went in to BB last night and asked the guy near the ps3 case if cod4 was indeed $38, however he insisted that it was full price, and that only the 360 version was on sale, and that If I wanted one of the ps3 games on sale that I would find them in a special bin at the front of the store (which had plenty of assassins creed and simpsons games) . Anyways, I had to find another guy who was willing to do a price check for me, and it was indeed $38. Also I was able to use the $10 off coupon found here for a total price of $30

I too was able to get COD4 and use the coupon...great deal!

So I guess there is at least one good game for the PS3.

I had a guy do a price check and still said COD4 was 59.99....so I got Assassin's Creed instead, now I might have to go back.

I went to my local BB yesterday and was able to get all games for 360, no restrictions they rang up as $37.99 on the register, I even grabbed The Simpsons Game for PS3 and then went back and exchanged it for the 360 version no problems
post #25 of 43
Since I put the wrong zip down for my Amazon order for this game (doh!) I can confirm this works at BB.

Rang up for 37.99 at the register even though the tag read 59.99. Weird since AC had a sale price sticker and CoD4 didn't.

I used a $20 reward zone coupon as well, after taxes I got it for $19.
WooHoo!! Went to BB yesterday to get AC and CoD4 for the PS3 ... both rang up at $37.99 no problem. Then to top off the night, I got UTIII as one of my gifts WOOT!!

I don't see it on sale on their website. Is it just an in store thing?

I'm wondering the same thing. I see Assassin's Creed for $37.99 on their website, but not COD4. But if all of these users say they are getting the COD4 deal then I'm going to try for it tomorrow.
