I must choose between two speaker systems

Bose Acoustimass 10 Series III Home Entertainment Speaker System

or

Bose AM15-II 6-Speaker Home Theatre System

What are differences between the two? they are on sale now for same price for boxing day. Also what reciever should i get for them(price range of 500).

I read alot about Bose but the speakers are not for me personally.

People here will probably not answer to this post, because it is Bose. Bose is a marketing giant with an average product that they make look like above everything else. You might want to check PSB's, Paradigm, Energy, Polk, ID Companies, Klipsch, Boston Acoustics, Athena, etc. All of them much better than Bose with models priced below Bose. Don't waste your hard earned money.

I can second PR's statement, I have owned the 3.2.1, for the bedroom and it is sufficient for that, but not for $800!!!!!!Dad owns it Now!

Good Buddy has owned a few and for strictly Movies it is OKAY!!!! I say OK in capitals because that is dependant upon what your used to....If you have experience with Full Range Speakers in a HT setup you will most likely be disappointed. The BASS Module is given a lot of Duty and it falls short in my opinion. It is more than likely a Physics issue with the Cubes only being able to reproduce so much....Anyway, you should definitely goto some BM stores and audition other setups, I have even owned some older AR HTIB setups that were better than the Bose product, but they didn't come with the electronics.
Good Luck
