To all Aquos HDTV owners, give input

I am shopping for an HDTV and the research I've done has me learning towards a 1080p 46 inch Aquos. The response time is listed as 4 seconds and the dynamic contrast ratio is 10,000 to 1. I am just concerned on the lag time because this TV will be used for movies as well as a good amount of gaming. Any Aquos owners, please give some feedback on what your experience has been. I look forward to using my 360 with this tv.

That would be awful if it were true.

LOL - I think kylebisme was trying to make a joke since viper257 did say 4 seconds when he meant milliseconds.

Lol, i know. My post was for viper, in case he wasn't joking. 4 seconds. Haha, imagine playing video games on that.

wow I'm slow. I didn't catch that. Too much eggnog I guess. I've been researching HDTVs for a month now, I just want to find one I like already..

Haha. Yeah. Go ahead and get it man, looks like a real nice tv. I had a 720p 37" sharp aquos and had no complaints, except size.

I don't own one (1080p Panasonic Plasma Here) however I have a friend that has the TV your asking about and the 360 and PS3 look great on the set. The response time is going to be just fine, you shouldn't experience any lag.

how many of you purchase the 2 year warranty at the store on your tv?
I wouldn't bet on a LCD failing in anywhere close to two years, at least not without the wager weighted my favor far more than any store would offer. They make fortunes off those sucker bets.

I wouldn't waste the cash on it to be honest, i've never had a lcd fail. I don't actually know anyone that has, but if it makes you feel better go ahead. If you have the money that is.
