I got my dad a 500GB HDD for our new media center come January. He already ported over all of his DVD rips to the new drive. We want to incorporate these videos with Windows Vista Media Center and MyMovies.

We were wondering if we needed a specific directory structure for Vista to find the correct files and display them when we used the media center portion..?

Does it ask for us to specify the folder? Can we have, for isntance, a folder called "Movies" with all DVD rips and then another called "TV Shows" for our recorded shows?

Or can we only have one root folder or drive?
