Audio Authority 1154A 'skipping' problem?

Does anyone have a problem with the AA 1154a where the switcher drops the source as soon as it becomes silent? For example, during a tv show when there is no dialouge the light on the box will turn off and then come back on as soon as dialouge resumes. The problem is that when the sound comes back its a fraction of a second too late and it results in a noticeable 'skip'. Is there any way to set it to wait longer before dropping a source?

anyone?

I would bet it's not the switcher? Try connecting it directly to your receiver...bet you'll be surprised it's the receiver!

Definitely not the receiver, I actually connected the sources directly to the receiver to rectify the problem. The switcher lights turns off for a split second too indicating that its not passing through the source.

I've had the 1154A for about 2 years and have not had that type of problem. The only problem that I've had with it is that it changed input mistakenly from time to time. It then switched back to the right input.

I would send an email to Audio Authority and see if they can help.
