Wow! Nice wife. The only thing my wife is giving me is grief over the costs...

You are right! My wife has been amazingly supportive throughout this project. We spend a lot of time together in it and that explains a lot of the reason why.

Thanks for the kind remarks. It is kind of hard to see in the photos but the words Home and Theater, and the popcorn and movie reel are 3 dimensional. That really adds to the look when you see it in person.

I'm considering buying one of these. Are the "lights" around the border glass or plastic rounds? It's hard to tell looking at the photos. Thanks.

I believe they are plastic, but they look really nice. I have a flush mounted light in my ceiling just above and in front of where the sign is. At night when the light is on the jewels reflect this light and glisten, it looks really cool.

I got 2 home theater themed gifts from my wife this year: a clock and a tiny theater!

Finally got my ticket booth!

Along with some drivein theater from previous years:

Bed Bath and Beyond.

The hands do "glow in the dark" but only if exposed to a bright light for an extended period of time. That's not a concern for me - mine is in my lobby bar.

are there any more items like these? Im looking for a movie reel for above the theater entrance

I am just glad I have a wife that enjoys my hobby and puts up with my quirks. These are some things she has gotten me for B-day, X-mas, anniversies, etc..

Bed and Beyond fillm reels with a movie strip in between them

A movie cell card from Lion King

Courtesy of Stargate Cinema:
Marquee sign, Clapboard (see attachments) and a metal dvd case holder

Now if you will buy me an old movie theater so I can watch different movies without changing discs...
