Stargate Atlantis: give up wait on BR?

Hi
I own the complete series of Stargate SG-1 on DVD, but I have never seen Atlantis
Mainly because I have been waiting for the first season(s) on BR
Maybe I should just go ahead and buy the DVD versions unless they have terrible PQ?

I own all of the Atlantis series on SD-DVD. They are probably one of the best looking tv shows on DVD. If they come to Blu Ray I'm sure they will look spectacular.

I've seen atlantis season 2 and 3 on HD cable. At first, the channel was looking spectacular but since then it has been over-compressed so much that my season 3 on dvd upconverted with my PS3 looks better.

Bottom line : This show is spectacular on HD. It looks good on DVD too imo. I would go with the DVD option if you have a good dvd player. I'm sure you can grab the first three seasons on dvd for dirt cheap.

I live here in Denmark where there is next to no HDTV
But then again, we only had one TV channel until 1988...

PAL Stargate Atlantis DVDs look good for DVD. AFAIK, it's not scheduled on Blu anytime soon. Hope this helps.
