First, let me apologize for bringing this level of cheapness to the forum.
What is the cheapest amp solution I could use to power a passive sub? I just got a new receiver that only has a sub pre-out and I want to power my old passive sub with something temporarily, until I can get a new powered sub.
Would this work - http://www.amazon.com/Power-Acoustik.../dp/B000P4BM62 ?
P.S. It does not have to be very powerful. For now I have hacked an old computer speaker I had laying around that has a whopping 4.5W per channel amp, so anything a little louder than that would work. I never crank the volume up (I have a newborn + neighbors)
